I made this calendar with the leftover pieces from the paper piecing on my July calendar page

More Calendar pages

For the June Page I used a stencil and Tim Holtz Distress inks.
For the July page I used the Sunburst paper piecing technique.
for the August page I used another version of the Bokeh technique , after watching a You tube tutorial. I the tutorial the background was painted with watercolour paint, then a white ink was used for the circles. I don't have watercolour paints so I used twinkling H2O's and I didn't like the look with white ink so I used Dylusions white paint.

Here are 3 more pages for my calendar.. I am having a lot of fun playing with different techniques for this calendar..

Yesterday I went to a Meeting at ACTSA (ACT stamp artists) we meet the last Sat of the Month, and Mary (one of the members) demonstrated a technique called Bokeh, so I made my own template using some acetate and some Spellbinder circle dies to cut out some different size circles, I used this technique on 2 of the pages.
On the March Page I used 3 of the new Tim Holtz distress ink pads on white card, On the April page I used Dylusions white paint on black card, On the May page I used some Dylusions sprays and a stencil.

calendar page with background using Magenta Nuance

Here is the November page for my techniques calendar. I used Magenta Nuance and a stencil to do the background and I coloured the little girl image with watercolour crayons, the puppy was stamped on brown card. The flowers were punched from scraps of card and paper using EK success punches.

Magenta Nuance

I was playing with My Magenta Nuance today and I did the background on this calendar, I white embossed a snowflake stamp, then used 2 blues from the Nuance range to make this background. It was my first attempt to use this new product and I am very happy with the results. I coloured the stamped image with twinkling H2O's.

Christmas tree cards made with diecut masks

I made these cards using die cut masks.
I used a Marianne design Christmas tree and Tim Holtz distress pads on all except the white one, for that I used Dylusions white paint.
