Iris folding Paint palette
To make the paint palette I used a pattern I bought from CUP designed by Silvia Griffin.
The background was made by using a piece of watercolour card to clean up excess Dylusions inks from another background I made, it looked like paint splatter so thought it would look good as a background for my paint palette.

Tim Holtz Distress ink pads colour swatch cards
Hi all I just finished making colour swatches for all my Distress ink pads. On the first set on the right side of the small piece of card I applied the ink pad direct to the piece, on the left side of the piece I used a mini ink blending tool. On the 2nd set I smooshed the ink pad onto a piece of plastic then mixed it with water with my paint brush then painted onto a piece of watercolour card. I haven't laminated them yet as I am still missing a few colours..

Prismacolor pencils colour chart
I just finished colouring my Prismacolor chart and I laminated it also.. I got the chart by googling for one and then downloaded it onto light cardstock. It never ceases to amaze me how different some colours look when you colour them to what the colour of the pencil looks like.

Watercolor for card makers on-line class part 2
I just finished making colour swatches of my Twinkling H2O's.. I googled for a blank colour swatch chart only to find it didn't have all my colours so using the one I googled as a guide I made up my own using Microsoft word 2013.. I knew I had a lot of Twinkling H2O's but even I was surprised to realise I have 168 tubs and that is not the whole range. and Of course when I finished I laminated the sheets. I have almost finished all the colour swatches for My on-line class, I think I will all be doing swatches of other colour mediums..

Watercolor for card makers on-line class
Lately I have watching Jennifer McGuire on YouTube and I have loved her tutorials, so when I saw that she and some other artists did on-line classes I decided to do one, so my first class is watercolor for card makers . Part of the pre-class assignment is to do colour swatches of your watercolour supplies...
so far I have done swatches for my KOH-I-NOOR watercolours
My Tombows (totally forgot I had them) and Derwent watercolour pencils
My Caran D'ache watercolour crayons and an interesting surprise my Sakura glitter gelly rollers (if you use a wet brush on them whilst still wet they get a great look, once dry it doesn't work)
and because I want to keep them and at times I can be a klutz and spill my water jar, I laminated them
I still have to do my Twinkling H2O's.
I really Like the colour swatch Idea so I think I made do swatches of my colour mediums.. if you have already noticed I love colour... lol
I noticed while doing the swatches that the watercolour pencils tend to be more subtle than the watercolour crayons.

Playing with distress ink and Pearlex
after watching a you tube tutorial I decided to have a play.
on these two cards I used Tim Holtz distress inks and pearl-ex mixed with water and gum Arabic in a spray bottle.
On the With Love card I used watercolour paper, black Brilliance, 3 distress inks and my pearl-ex mix.
On the with thinking of you I used a random piece of card I found floating on my desk, versamark ink pad, black embossing powder, distress inks and pearl-ex mix.
I used the same unmounted stamp on both, I don't know who made it I have it a long time.

On the October page I used some patterned paper and used some distress ink around the edges, die cut some butterflies using off-cuts of the paper and used distress ink on them, stamped with the same colour. I also made some corners with a punch in black card.
