I Love Embossing Folders 11

For these cards I cut a piece of white card slightly larger than the largest Spellbinders Labels die I wanted to use, then I ran the piece through my Xyron. I used a Spellbinders square die to cut out offcuts of patterned Christmas paper, then used my Label die to cut the piece. I then place the piece into a Crafter's Companion embossing folder to emboss it, Antique Gold rub and Buff was then used to highlight the embossing. I traced around the labels die onto another piece of card and cut it out to have a mat and adhered it to the embossed piece. Next a piece of ribbon was tied around the piece, then the piece was attached to the card base. I used a Marianne design Poinsettia die and stamp set for the flower and I think a Poppy Craft merry Christmas die, I also inked around the edges of the flower and leaves.

I made 2 Christmas cards using a Crafter's Companion embossing folder

for this card I cut out hexagons in patterned paper embossed them and added some distress ink

Had some more fun with the wax resist technique, my friend Lana suggested trying on gloss card and Kaleidacolor ink with a brayer and I wanted to try it with the new Wendy Vecchi make art blendable dye ink so here are what we came up with..

on these I double embossed the white card.. ie. used 2 different embossing folders on each piece of white card.. it is hard to see in the pics.

some more of the wax resist on 2 I used Distress oxide and water brushed onto the card and on 2 distress ink and mini blending tools

On these samples I used the wax paper resist Technique

On these samples I added distress ink, oxide ink or versacolor ink direct to the embossing folder, then embossed the card, then swiped a darker colour over raised bits.

I made these cards using embossing folders..
the first 3 cards were made using embossing folders from Crafter's Companion and I used Cosmic shimmer gilding wax on them..

The next 3 were Made using All Occasions embossing folders and dies...Spellbinder dies, Hunky Dory dies, Stampin'Up stamps , impression obsession stamp, Cherry Green stamp

The next to are a work in progress I used an emboss and cut folder
