50th Birthday card for a friend

I made this card for my friend Ruth's 50th Birthday...
I used a La Pashe sheet for this card,,, The verse is a Dylusions stamp

Mixed media master sheets

Viking Beard I made for my Brother

My Brother is a Big Canberra Raiders fan and he wanted me to make him a Green Viking beard to wear to the games... Here are some pics of him modelling it...

ACTSA stamp camp 2016 part 5

For our 5th and final class for stamp camp we did 1950's inspired cards as our theme for the month was the 1950's... these are the cards I made...

 All in all it was a fun filled weekend and I can't wait for our next stamp camp next year...

ACTSA stamp camp 2016 part 4

On Sunday our first class was Mixed media cards. First thing we had to do was make a Master sheet, which was something I never made before, Teresa wanted us to have either red or orange, then choose 3 other colours but not black or white.... mmmm choices, I chose a teal green, a mauvey purple and yellow... first we added some torn Chinese dictionary paper to our A4 card, when dry used a credit card size piece of plastic to add the 3 chosen colours...I almost trashed the piece but persevered and added more layers with a stamp, and used a blending tool with white gesso and a piece of Punchinello, and splattered some paint as well and was quite happy with the result..

Our 3rd class for Saturday was Shabby chic cards.
all the cards used this paper pad

the cards had lot's of layers and with the use of distress tools, ink flowers etc we made these lovely cards
