for the butterfly card I coloured the crayon through the stencil and smoothed it with my finger

For the Thinking of you card I just coloured onto blending card... I was neat about it and bits of white show through, I then taped on the blocks stencil with painters tape so it wouldn't move, then traced out the pattern with black fine marker, when done leaving the stencil in place I drew freehand lines adding the enamel accents once I removed the stencil

Male Birthday card

A customer of mine went to a recent craft show and after watching a demo, bought some glitter gel pens, vellum and some tool themed peel off stickers. When she got home she had forgotten what to do, so came to the shop to ask for my help. I told her I didn't see the demo so I don't know what they were doing, in the end she said she'd pay me to make her a card using them so she could see how to use them.. This is the card I made...

Big Surprise when I got home today..

I went to the local shopping centre this morning to mail out some packages, when I came back home about 45mins later.. it was to find this...

with so much rain lately and the tree was rotting... so down it came...half of it anyway... Lucky no major damage was done and the upside is.. Mum now gets more light in her bed room and I get more light in my craft room...

Yesterday I had my monthly meeting at ACTSA (ACT stamp Artists), It's a fun group we have Lana from Keep It Simply Stamping (KISS) who comes every meeting and always has lot's of goodies for us to buy from lot's of different companies including Ranger, TCW, Stazon etc. so we get our retail therapy.
 We also have demonstrations, Yesterday we had a back to basics on stencilling, demoed by Tania Shaw and Pam Palmer, We also had steam punk  demoed by Mary Craddock and Jess Hawkins. Both the demos were fab and we had printed notes so we could play at home.
 We also had a lovely afternoon supplied by our wonderful events group.
There is always lot's of people to chat with, along with a Raffle and a card challenge....
 Anyone living in the Canberra area who loves paper crafts should come along and join the fun, the first meeting is free, then you can join or if you only want to come sometimes pay a small fee when you visit. Yearly membership is $70 or it is $12 per visit

Today I am playing with Magenta Nuance Powders... In the first few pics I was using the Nuance on shaving cream... I really liked the backgrounds made using this technique..
