Crackle Effect using PVA glue..

I watched a Jennifer Evers You Tube tutorial on Crackle Effect using Elmer's glue...

I don't have Elmers glue so I decided to try good old PVA glue....I have a huge bottle of that...

these are the results of my play...

I found this embossed piece in my drawer of bit's and pieces of white and decided to see how it looked with the crackle effect...
all the paint I used with the exception of the pale pink and white is Reeves acrylic, the light pink is DecoArt Americana and the white is gesso.

I also tried using mod podge... as you see it didn't work

I also used some Tim Holtz distress crackle paint on 3 of my pieces..
