Faux Rust effect

I saw some You tube tutorials on Faux rust effect as I didn't have any of the products they used I decided to have a play and see what I could do with what I got...
on all these samples I stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink and used Darkroom Door's Texture stamp scratches, then I used Chromacryl Impasto gel medium mixed with Reeves Terracotta acrylic paint over the top..

I found it a bit shiny so then I tried mixing the paint with Ranger texture paste transparent matte
